My design studio has gone digital! I want to bring my expertise and experience to you and make the design process as streamlined as possible so you can focus on being the creative director of your business or project.
I want to share my 10 years of experience with you and make every aspect of the design process a little bit easier so you can get down to ensuring your fashion business runs as smoothly as possible.
It's important to work with people who are experts in their field and who can add value to your project and brand but more than that, it's important to work with people with the same values. At Bag This Design, we want to make the design process as efficient as possible through our client portal while executing your vision to the highest standard.
I started design and making bags during university. I studied fashion design but was always drawn to bags. I followed my passion and started my journey in a luxury bag factory making patterns and prototypes. I loved the hands-on approach to design and starting with a practical knowledge of construction set me up for the rest of my career.
After a few years of 7am starts, freezing winters and oven like summers I moved my career back into the office. Over the following years I've worked as a designer for a number of brands, creating CADs and tech packs; working with suppliers all over the world and perfecting samples and prototypes. When you're in full time employment you always notices things that can be improved or you think of better ways to achieve targets but it's often difficult to implement within an existing company or team culture. Small frustrations and the desire to work more fluidly initially pushed me towards freelancing. Working within a brand with seasonal drops started to become monotonous and I loved the varied projects and brands I started working with. I very quickly fell in love with freelancing.

Growing and learning is something I'm very passionate about both personally and within my business. I quickly became very interested in 3D design and decided to broaden my horizons by taking a course and during the Covid-19 pandemic. 3D is an amazing way to develop new products. While 2D drawing has been a traditional design medium and widely used within the fashion industry, 3D adds a life like and tangible dimension to design. I find 3D helps eliminate the timely business of creating paper mock ups or multiple 2D CADs for various view points. I love creating prototypes in 3D and creating photorealistic renders with the correct textures and prints at the click of a button. 3D has revolutionised the way I work and I can't wait to share this exciting medium with you too!Bag This Design was born out of the need to create structure and a brand of my own without relying on my name alone. I also wanted to make the process easier and more efficient for my clients. I spent many years making life easier for my suppliers and I wanted to do the same for the companies I worked with by getting rid of follow up emails and expired WeTransfer links and add more value than just completing the project given.
